Black Friday on Broadway (BFOB)
BFOB is a collaboration between NEON and the West Broadway Business
& Area Coalition (WBC). It encourages the community to support entrepreneurs on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday - while promoting holiday shopping in the richly diverse business district of North Minneapolis. BFOB is also an opportunity for small businesses to meet and greet neighbors, promote their businesses and test the viability of their products and services.
Around 30 small businesses take part in BFOB each year, selling products and services at NEON, which is transformed into a holiday pop-up shop. This unique shopping opportunity benefits our collective goal to build wealth while supporting economic development initiatives within the communities we serve.
Event dates are:
Friday, November 27th - Black Friday
Saturday, November 28th - Small Business Saturday
This year the vendor application is earlier due to some exciting vendor marketing trainings in collaboration with small marketing businesses (stay tuned for the announcement on our collaborators). All trainings will be via Zoom to maintain social distancing.
