NEON's Recognition Luncheon is a launching point to communicate NEON’s aspirations for North Minneapolis. This annual event recognizes NEON clients, volunteers, funders and partners who help sustain the work we do in the community. In 2019 awards were given in the following categories:
Youth in Business Award: given to a young entrepreneur that exemplifies the next generation of business leaders and the positive impact they're making in their communities.
Key Partner of the Year Award: given to a partner organization whose collaboration helps NEON further their goals of creating a culture of entrepreneurship in North Minneapolis.
Volunteer of the Year Award: given to an organization whose behind the scenes support makes our work here at NEON possible.
Supporter of the Year Award: given to a funder whose support helps sustain NEON's work.
Champion Awards: given to 4 NEON clients who use their business success to better their community.
