With over 20+ years of catering and bartending experience under her belt, Wendy Puckett always had a passion for cooking for others and decided to make her dream a reality by starting her own business, Wendy's House of Soul.
Wendy embarked upon the journey of entrepreneurship with a desire to own something for herself and her family; while realizing that she could do something that would make her happy for the rest of her life.
Wendy's House of Soul has been supported by community members of all kinds, with the SoulRoll being the signature item that keeps customers coming back for more. Along with her unique cuisine, Wendy is proud to be an African-American woman owned business who is also a veteran and single mother.
With an open heart Wendy enjoys serving customers who have a love and appreciation for good food with a "home cooked feel."
When customers dine with Wendy's House of Soul they feel the strength she brings to customer service and see the food cooked with love. In the future Wendy has hopes to own a food truck and eventually a stand-alone restaurant to reach more people in the communities she serves.
